The distributor of GTA V is take two interactive, they own 2K games and Rockstar and they also own different sectors of Rockstar like Rockstar Leeds for example.
Thanks for this Joe - the main point I wanted you to realise - which I think you have from the looks of it! - is that Rockstar Games are able to use a distributor that is already part of their own company in Take Two - who are the parent company of Rockstar Games, so they never need to go outside the company structure so that costs keep down: Vertical Integration in action. Whereas, the first Angry Birds was low budget by a couple of Finnish developers and therefore they had to go to Chillingo - owned by EA - and basically got screwed out of lots of money because they had no option: whereas now Angry Birds could pay for whatever they want as it's been such a success!!
